Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to drive the execution of complex infrastructure and transformation initiatives with a focus on data centre exits, real estate rationalisation, and telecoms-related projects. This role is responsible for ensuring successful end-to-end delivery by coordinating teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements. The Delivery Lead will act as the central point of accountability for project outcomes, balancing operational execution with strategic alignment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of telecoms infrastructure and transformation projects, ensuring outputs are aligned to business objectives.
• Drive the execution of data centre exit and migration activities, including planning, cutover, decommissioning, and stakeholder engagement to achieve cost and space optimisation.
• Coordinate delivery across cross-functional teams, vendors, and third parties, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and to quality standards.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing pragmatic mitigation and escalation strategies to keep delivery on track.
• Provide clear and consistent reporting to stakeholders, ensuring visibility of progress, challenges, and outcomes at both technical and executive levels.
• Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration across delivery teams, ensuring effective hand-offs and smooth transition into business-as-usual operations executive levels.

Skills required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in delivery management or technical project leadership within infrastructure or telecoms programmes.
• Demonstrable experience leading data centre exit/migration or real estate rationalisation programmes.
• Strong background in telecoms infrastructure (SONET/SDH, DWDM, IP, OSP/ISP).
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple teams, vendors, and delivery streams in complex environments.
• Skilled in delivery frameworks and tools (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid; MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).

Educational Requirements

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification or understanding of IT service management principles.
